PINGUS

Unter ~/.pingus/demos wird beim Spielen eines Levels eine Log Datei angelegt. Diese enthält die Information, welcher Pingus wann, wo, was tun soll. Einfach mal mit einem Editor reinschauen.

Diese Steuerdatei kann man auch abspielen. Funktioniert nur unter Version 0.8.0 (ältere Versionen funktionieren nicht). Also, in einem Terminal statt mit "./pingus" einfach mit "./pingus ~/.pingus/demos/tutorial_basher-tutorial-grumbel-20110902-080441.pingus-demo" starten.

Ein paar zusätzliche Tipps:
~ ist die Abkürzung für dein Homeverzeichnis. Wird von Unix dann richtig interpretiert.
Man kann mit der grafischen Oberfläche eine Dateiendung mit einem Programm verknüpfen: rechte Maustaste und dann "mit einer anderen Anwendung öffnen ..." auswählen. Dann entweder das Programm Pingus auswählen oder wenn die Scripte von der Mary's-Pingus Seite heruntergeladen wurden, "pingus-0.8.0.sh" starten. Dann liegen die Steuerdateien unter "levels-Arbeit/_demos".

Under ~/.pingus/demos a log file is being created while playing a level. This file contains information what the Pingus are doing when and where. Just have a look at it with an editor.

You can play back this file. This only works with version 0.8.0 (older ones don't support this feature). All you have to do is open a terminal and start "./pingus ~/.pingus/demos/tutorial_basher-tutorial-grumbel-20110902-080441.pingus-demo" instead of "./pingus".

A few additional remarks on this:

~ is the abbreviation for your home directory. This is being interpreted by Unix correctly.

You can connect a file with a program under the grafical interface: right-click mouse and then chose "open with a different program". Then chose the program Pingus. Or - if you have downloaded the sripts from Mary's Pingus page - start "pingus-0.8.0.sh". You will then find the log files in "levels-Arbeit/_demos".
